KATHMANDU, April 9: The House of Representatives (HoR) has published the election schedule for the post of Deputy Speaker.
According to the schedule, nominations will be filed on Thursday between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM, while the final list of candidates will be published at 2:30 PM.

The election is scheduled for April 10 at 4:00 PM, during which candidates will be presented for a decision.
As the Speaker, elected from the Rastriya Swatantra Party, is male, the Deputy Speaker must be a woman from another party, in line with constitutional provisions.
