Forex updates: USD sells at 152.83, euro at 174.65
KATHMANDU, July 12: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for Sunday.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 152.23 and the selling rate at Rs 152.83.

The buying rate for one euro is Rs 173.96 and the selling rate is Rs 174.65. One UK pound sterling is being traded at Rs 204.15 for buying and Rs 204.95 for selling, while one Swiss franc has been set at Rs 188.64 for buying and Rs 189.38 for selling.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 105.75 and the selling rate is Rs 106.17. One Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 107.43 for buying and Rs 107.86 for selling, while one Singapore dollar is valued at Rs 117.91 for buying and Rs 118.17 for selling.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.41 and the selling rate is Rs 9.45. One Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs 22.46 for buying and Rs 22.55 for selling. The buying and selling rates for one Saudi riyal are Rs 40.55 and Rs 40.71 respectively, while one Qatari riyal is priced at Rs 41.78 for buying and Rs 41.94 for selling.
Similarly, one Thai baht is valued at Rs 4.57 for buying and Rs 4.59 for selling. The buying and selling rates for one UAE dirham are Rs 41.45 and Rs 41.61 respectively, while one Malaysian ringgit is set at Rs 37.40 for buying and Rs 37.55 for selling. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.12 and the selling rate is Rs 10.16. One Swedish krona is being exchanged at Rs 15.80 for buying and Rs 15.86 for selling, while one Danish krone has been fixed at Rs 23.27 for buying and Rs 23.36 for selling.
The central bank has also set the buying and selling rates for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 19.42 and Rs 19.50 respectively. One Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs 494.65 for buying and Rs 496.60 for selling. One Bahraini dinar has been fixed at Rs 403.76 for buying and Rs 405.35 for selling, while one Omani riyal is being traded at Rs 395.38 for buying and Rs 396.94 for selling.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
NRB said the exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as required. It added that commercial banks may set different rates, and the latest exchange rates are available on the central bank's website.
