KATHMANDU, May 28: The price of gold dropped sharply on Thursday, falling by Rs 5,500 per tola compared to Wednesday to reach Rs 285,000 per tola, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association.

Similarly, the price of silver declined by Rs 225 per tola on Thursday to Rs 4,865 per tola. On Wednesday, silver had increased by Rs 20 per tola to Rs 5,080 per tola, the association said.
