Karki elected HoR member from Sankhuwasabha

As per the results announced last night, Karki won the HoR seat by getting 15,663 votes against his nearest rival, Mingma Sherpa of the Rastriya Swatantra Party. Sherpa bagged 15,000 votes in the election, according to the Office of the Returning Officer.

SANKHUWASABHA, March 10: Dr Arjun Kumar Karki of CPN (UML) was declared the winner in the House of Representatives (HoR) election from Sankhuwasabha district.

As per the results announced last night, Karki won the HoR seat by getting 15,663 votes against his nearest rival, Mingma Sherpa of the Rastriya Swatantra Party. Sherpa bagged 15,000 votes in the election, according to the Office of the Returning Officer.


Of the total 119,630 voters in the district, 63,634 voters cast their votes in the March 5 HoR election.
