JANAKPURDHAM, Feb 18: The Nepali Congress (NC) has unveiled a detailed 10-point vision aimed at ensuring good governance and national prosperity. The manifesto, presented during a special event in Janakpurdham, carries the slogan “Prosperous Nepal, Respectable Nepali” and lays out the party’s priorities for the next five years.
The vision emphasizes placing citizens’ dignity at the forefront, ensuring that every Nepali, regardless of caste, religion, gender, or region, can live with pride and respect. The party has pledged to enforce the rule of law strictly, eliminate privileges based on power or influence, and provide efficient, hassle-free administrative services.
Party President Gagan Kumar Thapa highlighted measures to control corruption, reduce delays in public services, and facilitate citizens to access services from home. On economic growth, the party plans to promote private sector development and asset creation.
