KATHMANDU, March 6: Ranju Neupane (Darshana), the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate in Kathmandu Constituency-1, has taken a commanding lead in the ongoing vote count.
According to the latest results, Neupane has secured 13,591 votes, putting her on track for a comfortable victory.

Prabal Thapa of the Nepali Congress (NC) has garnered 5,696 votes, while Rabindra Mishra of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has received 3,507 votes, according to Chief Election Officer Churaman Khadka.
So far, 26,216 votes have been counted. Of these, 25,600 are valid while 616 votes have been declared invalid.
