MAKWANPUR, March 8: Under the House of Representatives election, Prakash Gautam of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected from Makwanpur-1.
Chief Election Officer Geeta Shrestha informed that he received a total of 36,033 votes.

Gautam's nearest rival Mahalakshmi Upadhyay (Dina) of Nepali Congress received 14,038 votes in the constituency.
