KAILALI, March 8: Khemraj Koirala of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has emerged victorious in the election held to the House of Representatives from Kailali-4.



According to the final vote count, Koirala won with 28,556 votes followed by Nepali Congress candidate Gorakh Bahadur Bista, who received 11,301 votes, said Election Officer Hari Prasad Acharya.

Similarly, Lekhraj Bhatta of the Nepali Communist Party received 9,444 votes and Kamal Rajwar of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party received 1,358 votes.


Of the 115,143 voters in Kailali-4, 61,941 votes were cast and 3,658 were invalid.
