KATHMANDU, May 10: The National Examination Board (NEB) has announced that it is preparing to publish the results of this year’s Secondary Education Examination (SEE) on May 13 (Tuesday).
According to Examination Controller Tukraj Adhikari, all necessary preparations have been completed in line with the government’s policy of publishing results within one month of the examination.
He said answer sheets from across the country have already been checked, covering a total of 512,421 examinees, and marksheets have been compiled. The data entry process is currently underway by technical staff.
Adhikari added that the board is working even during holidays to ensure the results are published on time on May 13.

He stated that teachers were trained to evaluate answer sheets directly at examination centres, which has helped maintain consistency and reduce errors.
Once all data entry is completed, the board will hold a meeting before officially publishing the results.
This year, 441,566 students appeared for the regular SEE examination, while 70,855 students registered for grade improvement exams. A total of 1,972 examination centres were used nationwide.
Among the participants, 257,613 were female students.
