KATHMANDU, March 14: The first song titled “Mayalai Ke Diun Ma Baina” from the upcoming Nepali film Lalibazar has been released.
Produced by Shatkon Arts, the song was unveiled during a program held in Kathmandu. The song features actors Swastima Khadka, Rabindra Singh Baniya, child artist Samaira Thapa, Mukunda Shrestha and debut actor Bishal Devkota.
Choreographed by Pradeep Lama, the song highlights the dance performances of Khadka and Samaira as its main attraction.
The track features vocals by Deepika Bayambu Magar and Khem Century. The music has also been composed by Khem Century, while the lyrics were written by Ramesh BG.

Singer Deepika’s earlier song ‘Kashmire Pachhyauri’, ‘Darjeelingko Rail’ had gained wide popularity among audiences.
The film is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2026. The movie was shot in Rajapur, Bardiya.
Apart from Khadka and Baniya, the film also stars Samaira Thapa, Mukund Kumar Shrestha, Abhay Baral, Prem Pandey, Asha Poudel, Govinda Sunar, Abha Aryal, Tara Sharma, Ramesh Badi and Saraswati Adhikari.
The film also marks the debut of Bishal Devkota and Prashansa Subedi.
Lalibazar is written and directed by Yam Thapa. The screenplay and dialogues were jointly prepared by Thapa and Pradeep Bhattarai.
Actress Swastima Khadka will be seen in a role different from her usual characters, which has already raised curiosity among audiences.
The film’s executive producer is Pradip Bhattarai, while Max Dipesh Khatri and Rabindra Singh Baniya serve as producers.
The film’s music has been composed by Prakash Saput, Khem Century and Jayan J Waiba.
