SUDURPASCHIM, March 19: A man has shot dead his wife, and unsuccessfully tried to kill himself too, in Kailali.
Ram Bahadur Magar, 31, of Ameleshani in Godavari Municipality-4, Kailali, shot his 27-year-old wife, Sanjita Magar.

Sanjita died on the spot. After shooting his wife, Ram Bahadur tried to shoot himself, too, but failed. He was rushed to Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi, in an unconscious state, shared Yogendra Timilsina, spokesperson of the District Police Office, Kailali.
Citing locals, Timilsina said that Ram Bahadur had an argument with his wife, Sanjita, while they were grazing goats in a forest near the village on Wednesday afternoon and shot her in a fit of rage.
“After reports from locals last night, a police team reached the spot and has started an investigation. The time of the incident has not been confirmed,” Timilsina said. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
