KATHMANDU, March 3: An astrologer who publicly claimed that the election scheduled for March 5 would not take place has been arrested.
According to police, astrologer Rudranath Adhikari was taken into custody from Chandragiri on Monday evening. He had reportedly stated that March 5 was inauspicious and that the election would not be held on that date.

The Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office apprehended Adhikari and handed him over to the District Police Range, Kathmandu.
Police said Adhikari is currently being held in custody at the Kathmandu police office for further investigation.
