KATHMANDU, Dec 14: The closed-door session of the CPN-UML’s 11th National General Convention began nearly six hours after the scheduled time at Bhrikutimandap on Sunday. Party chair KP Sharma Oli addressed the session at its outset.
Originally slated to start at 9 AM, the closed session was repeatedly delayed due to a prolonged Central Committee meeting, eventually getting underway after 3 pm. The session had earlier been rescheduled from noon to 1 pm before the final delay.
