KATHMANDU, Nov 25: Eight individuals have been recommended for promotion to Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Nepal Police.
A promotion committee meeting held on Sunday recommended the promotion of eight Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) to the vacant positions of DIGs. The committee recommended Dhubaraj Raut, Bhola Bahadur Rawal, Ganesh Chand, Siddhi Bikram Shah, Sushil Singh Rathore, Uma Prasad Chaturbedi, Himalaya Kumar Shrestha, and Dambar Bahadur BK for the DIG positions.

Raut, Rawal, and Chand are batchmates of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Basanta Bahadur Kunwar.
