Election preparations up in Manang

MANANG, Jan 20: Preparations for the upcoming election to the House of Representatives (HoR) have intensified in Manang, where the total number of voters stands at 7,000.

During the previous HoR elections held in 2022, the total number of voters was 6,779. According to Chief Election Officer Jeevan Kunwar, there are a total of 3,623 female voters and 3,377 male voters. A total of 29 election centres have been set up across the district.

Manang is considered geographically challenging for conducting elections, and election management activities are being carried out accordingly. Coordination is ensured among the Election Commission, district administration, security agencies, and local levels for making the voting successful.
