Four DIGs promoted to AIG

A Cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to promote DIGs Sushil Singh Rathore, Uma Prasad Chaturvedi, Himalaya Kumar Shrestha, and Dambar Bahadur BK to AIG.

KATHMANDU, Oct 9: The government has promoted four Deputy Inspectors General (DIGs) of Nepal Police to the post of Additional Inspector General (AIG).



A cabinet meeting held on Thursday decided to promote DIGs Sushil Singh Rathore, Uma Prasad Chaturvedi, Himalaya Kumar Shrestha, and Dambar Bahadur BK to AIG.

Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel briefing to the press after the meeting informed Rathore has been assigned to the Economic Administration and Management Directorate under the Administration Department at the Nepal Police Headquarters in Naxal.


Chaturvedi has been posted to the Madhesh Police Office in Janakpurdham, Shrestha to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority Police Division in Tangal and BK to the Sudurpaschim Province Police Office in Dhangadhi, Kailali.
