KATHMANDU, Dec 19: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has named Gen Z activist Purushottam Yadav in its preliminary list of candidates to be elected under the proportional representation (PR) system from Madhesh Province.
According to the list issued by party Spokesperson Manish Jha, Yadav has been fielded as a candidate from Siraha. On Friday, Jha shared a photo of Yadav on social media with the caption, “Welcome to RSP, netaji.”

Meanwhile, a photo of Yadav meeting RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane at Tribhuvan International Airport surfaced on Thursday. The meeting took place as Lamichhane was heading to Rupandehi in connection with his release process.
The RSP has released its preliminary PR list with candidates under different categories and said it will hold discussions with the public before finalizing the list on December 29.
