KATHMANDU, May 11: The price of gold has declined in the Nepali market on Monday, while silver has recorded a modest increase.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), gold is being traded at Rs 298,500 per tola today, down Rs 400 per tola. On Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 298,900 per tola.

Meanwhile, silver prices increased on Monday. Silver, which was traded at Rs 5,300 per tola on Sunday, is being traded at Rs 5,340 per tola today, marking a rise of Rs 40 per tola, FENEGOSIDA said.
In the international market, gold is being traded at USD 4,675 per ounce today.
