Gold price surges by Rs 5,600, silver also rises

On Sunday, the price of gold increased by Rs 5,600 per tola, reaching Rs 310,300, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported. Previously, gold was traded at Rs 304,700 per tola.

KATHMANDU, Feb 22: On the first trading day of the week, local markets saw a sharp rise in gold and silver prices.



On Sunday, the price of gold increased by Rs 5,600 per tola, reaching Rs 310,300, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association reported. Previously, gold was traded at Rs 304,700 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices also rose significantly. Today, silver increased by Rs 375 per tola to reach Rs 5,425, up from Rs 5,050.
