Gold prices drop by Rs 4,200, silver up by Rs 60

KATHMANDU, Oct 10: Gold prices saw a sharp decline while silver prices increased in the Nepali market on Friday.



According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 235,000 per tola. On Thursday, the price was Rs 239,200 per tola — a drop of Rs 4,200 today.

Meanwhile, silver prices rose by Rs 60 to reach Rs 3,085 per tola, up from Rs 3,025 per tola on Thursday.
