KATHMANDU, June 15: Gold and silver prices continued their upward trend in the Nepali market on Monday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, both precious metals became more expensive compared to Sunday’s rates.
Gold and silver prices remain steady
Gold price surged by Rs 5,000 per tola. The yellow metal, which was traded at Rs 293,200 per tola on Sunday, climbed to Rs 298,200 per tola on Monday.
Similarly, silver also edged higher, rising by Rs 120 per tola. Silver, which stood at Rs 4,895 per tola on Sunday, reached Rs 5,015 per tola on Monday.
The federation said daily prices are fixed based on fluctuations in the international bullion market.
