KATHMANDU, May 29: The government has decided to provide grants to provinces and local levels based on the recommendations of the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission (NNRFC) for fiscal equalization.

Unveiling the budget for the upcoming Fiscal Year (FY) 2025/25, Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel announced that Rs 60.66 billion will be transferred to the provinces and Rs 88.97 billion to the local levels for this purpose.
