KAILALI, March 9: A man has been arrested in Kailali for allegedly murdering his wife.
The accused, 35-year-old Dammar Raj Joshi, a resident of Deuriya, Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City-7, reportedly attacked his 30-year-old wife, Saraswati Awasthi Joshi, with a sharp weapon around 12:45 am on Sunday, killing her on the spot, according to the District Police Office, Kailali.

Joshi, who fled after committing the crime, was arrested by a police team dispatched from Dhakheri, Shamsherganj, at Ovari, Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality in Banke.
Further investigation into the case is ongoing, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Yogendra Timilsina of the Kailali District Police Office.
