JHAPA, March 30: A landslide has obstructed the Mechi Highway again since this morning. The highway had resumed one-way since Sunday night after removing landslide debris.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Ilam, Laxmi Bhandari, shared that the highway was completely blocked for traffic after a dry landslide recurred this morning.
Efforts are underway to resume the traffic, added Bhandari. A dry landslide had taken place at Bagkhor of Rong Rural Municipality-4 in Ilam district. A truck (Pra 1-01-001 Kha 43334) heading towards Jhapa from Ilam was buried due to a landslide, said the police. However, no human casualty is reported.
