Narayanghat–Muglin and Muglin–Nagdhunga road sections open one-way

Efforts to remove landslides and ease traffic flow are still ongoing. However, CDO Aryal has urged travelers to remain cautious, warning that larger landslides could occur at any time.

CHITWAN, Oct 4: The Narayanghat–Muglin road section and the Muglin–Nagdhunga section of the Prithvi Highway, which had been blocked by landslides since this morning, have now been partially reopened for one-way traffic.



According to Chief District Officer Ganesh Aryal, traffic resumed after debris was cleared at Jawangkhola in Benighat Rorang-10, Dhading, and at Tuinkhola Bridge in Ichchhakamana-5, Chitwan.

Efforts to remove landslides and ease traffic flow are still ongoing. However, CDO Aryal has urged travelers to remain cautious, warning that larger landslides could occur at any time. Police said continuous rainfall has kept the area highly vulnerable, with rocks and soil still sliding down.
