KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Gagan Kumar Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma have taken the lead in the counting of votes for the post of General Secretary of the Nepali Congress (NC) under the 14th General Convention.
Thapa got 381 votes while Bishwaprakash Sharma got 228 votes out of 600 votes counted till 12 PM.

Similarly, Pradip Poudel got 207 votes, Prakash Sharan Mahat got 201 votes, Minendra Rijal got 101 votes and Dr. Rajaram Karki got 28 votes.
