KATHMANDU, April 30 : Nepal’s national flag carrier Nepal Airlines has formally apologized over an error in a network map shared on its social media platforms.
The airline acknowledged that the recently published map contained serious cartographic inaccuracies related to international borders and clarified that the content did not represent the official position of either the Government of Nepal or the airline.

“We sincerely apologize for the error in the network map recently shared through our social media platforms. The map contained serious inaccuracies regarding international boundaries, which do not reflect the official views of the Government of Nepal or Nepal Airlines,” the airline stated.
According to the airline, the controversial post has been removed immediately and an internal review process has been initiated to prevent similar mistakes in the future. “We have promptly removed the post and are conducting an internal review to ensure that such materials are prepared in accordance with the highest standards of accuracy going forward,” the statement added.
The airline also emphasized the importance it places on Nepal’s relations with neighboring and friendly countries and expressed deep regret if the post caused any inconvenience or offense. “We highly value our strong relations with neighboring and friendly nations and deeply regret if this post caused any inconvenience or offense,” the airline said.
