Nepal Trust Former Joint Secretary Karki Arrested

According to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Karki was found to have leased land owned by the Nepal Trust in Kathmandu with malicious intent, thereby causing harm to the Trust. Senior Superintendent of Police Shiva Kumar Shrestha of the CIB confirmed Karki’s arrest.

Kathmandu, Nov 8: A retired Joint Secretary of the Office of Nepal Trust, Durbar Marg, Kathmandu, has been arrested on charges of fraud and criminal breach of trust. He has been identified as Lekh Bahadur Karki (66), a resident of Bharatpur metropolis–15, Chitwan.



According to the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), Karki was found to have leased land owned by the Nepal Trust in Kathmandu with malicious intent, thereby causing harm to the Trust. Senior Superintendent of Police Shiva Kumar Shrestha of the CIB confirmed Karki’s arrest.
