KATHMANDU, July 1: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) rose 44.59 points on Wednesday after declining continuously for the past seven trading days.
With this increase, the NEPSE index has reached 2652.93 points. In the intraday trading, the market remained in the green throughout the trading hours.
The daily turnover amount also increased to Rs 3.86 billion from Rs 3.25 billion. As the prices of 252 companies increased, 17 decreased while six remained stable.
Nepse marginally lower in week after last session recovery
The indices of all groups increased. The indices of manufacturing, hydropower and trade groups increased more than two percent.
The price of the recently listed Snow Rivers increased 15 percent. Similarly, the price of CYC Microfinance increased by 14.22, Bhujung Hydropower by 13.90, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower by 9.73, Midsolu Hydropower by 9.37, Samudrik Microfinance by 9.05, Yambling Hydropower by 8.25 and Reliance Spinning Mills by 6.62 percent.
Among the losers, the price of Corporate Development Bank decreased by the most 5.21 percent. Similarly, Dhaulagiri Microfinance decreased by four percent and Upper Syange by 3.55 percent.
The companies with the larger volume of transactions include Laxmi Sunrise Bank, Reliance Spinning Mills, Aankhukhola Hydropower, NRN Infrastructure and Radhi Vidyut, respectively.
