NRB reduces ATM cash withdrawal limits

Previously, the NRB had set a daily withdrawal limit of Rs 100,000. The central bank in its revised unified directives on Friday introduce the new provision.

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: An individual can now withdraw only Rs 50,000 per day using ATM cards, with Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) revising the rule accordingly.



Previously, the NRB had set a daily withdrawal limit of Rs 100,000. The central bank in its revised unified directives on Friday introduce the new provision.

Likewise, the limit for withdrawal at a time by using ATM cards has been reduced to Rs 20,000 from Rs 25,000. 


Similarly, only Rs 300,000 can be withdrawn in a month now . Earlier, there was a provision to withdraw up to Rs 400,000 per month.
