Personal event registration serves as a fundamental basis for establishing a citizen’s legal identity, formulating public policies, and accessing state-provided services. With this in view, all local governments are marking the week with different activities.
According to the department, schools and local organizations will organize a range of programmes to promote awareness about the significance of registering personal events.
The department had already issued a circular to all local levels in the last week of March, urging them to observe the week with various initiatives.
