KATHMANDU, March 24: Prime Minister Sushila Karki is set to return to her private residence on Friday after completing the tenure of the interim government.
Karki, who had been residing at the official residence in Baluwatar since assuming office, will move back to her home in Dhapasi after handing over responsibilities to the incoming government.
She was appointed Prime Minister following the Gen Z movement, with the key mandate of conducting the House of Representatives (HoR) elections held on March 5.
Lamichhane yet to vacate ministerial residence
Having successfully overseen the HoR election , Karki is now preparing to step down and transfer power in line with the public mandate for the formation of a new government.
