Police at Nagdhunga Checkpost turning travelers away

KATHMANDU, Oct 4: Due to landslides in various areas of Dhading, police have advised people to avoid travelling through the affected regions for their safety. Through loudspeakers, they have urged individuals to turn back.



On the Nagdhunga–Muglin section of the road, landslides have occurred at multiple locations, and immediate clearance is not possible. Since early this morning, police have been urging travellers to avoid the area through public announcements.

At Kathmandu’s main checkpoint, Nagdhunga, police have been making announcements asking travelers not to proceed further and advising them to return safely.


Meanwhile, the Narayangadh–Muglin section of the road and the Muglin–Nagdhunga stretch of the Prithvi Highway, which had been blocked due to landslides since morning, are now operating on a one-way basis.
