PR ballots printing begins

This marks the first phase of the nationwide ballot printing process.

KATHMANDU, Jan 8: The Janak Education Material Centre (JEMC) in Sanothimi, Bhaktapur, has started preparations to print proportional representation (PR) ballots from Thursday. About 20.8 million PR ballots are expected to be printed.

JEMC spokesperson Ram Bahadur Kunwar said that sample ballots for the upcoming House of Representatives election, scheduled for March 5, have already been printed. This marks the first phase of the nationwide ballot printing process.
