KATHMANDU, Jan 17: President Ram Chandra Paudel inspected the under-construction Kathmandu-Terai/Madhesh expressway on Friday.
On the occasion, he acquired information on the progress of the Kathmandu-Terai/Madhesh (Expressway) Road Project, the President's Secretariat said in a statement.

President Paudel directed the Nepali Army to complete the project within the stipulated time. The project is being constructed by the Nepali Army. Once completed, the expressway will connect Kathmandu with Nijgadh in Bara district via Lalitpur and Makawanpur.
The construction of the expressway is expected to contribute to the development of the country.
