KATHMANDU, May 12: In a relief to students who received an ‘NG’ in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) 2026, the National Examination Board has decided to conduct supplementary examinations from June 15.
Under the new arrangement, regular examinees will be allowed to sit for supplementary exams in all subjects in which they obtained an ‘NG’.

Previously, students were allowed to take grade improvement examinations only in certain subjects. This year, however, the board has adopted a more flexible policy, citing students’ convenience.
As a result, students can now appear for supplementary examinations in every subject in which they failed to secure the minimum grade.
