RSP Chair Lamichhane wins Chitwan-2 by over 39,000 vote margin

KATHMANDU, March 7: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chair Rabi Lamichhane has been elected to the House of Representatives from Chitwan-2 with a massive margin.



In the final results released on Saturday, Lamichhane secured 54,402 votes out of a total of 87,028 votes counted in the constituency.

His closest rival, Nepali Congress candidate Mina Kharel, received 14,564 votes. The vote margin between Lamichhane and Kharel stood at 39,838 votes.


In the 2022 House of Representatives election and the 2023 by-election, Lamichhane was also elected from the same constituency.
