According to park officials, 32 CCTV cameras inside the park have been repaired and brought into operation. Patrols will be carried out on elephants, on foot and over short and long distances. All 57 security posts have been activated and locals have been urged to remain alert.

Community-based clubs formed for wildlife protection have also been mobilized for awareness. The park, which covers 952.63 sq km, often faces increased threats during festivals as traffickers take advantage of the season, officials said.
