KATHMANDU, Sept 24: Kedar Nath Sharma, director of Shiva Shikhar Multipurpose Cooperative, has been arrested. Sharma had escaped from Nakkhu Jail during the Gen-Z movement. He was apprehended by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the Nepal Police in Sanepa, Lalitpur.

Sharma had been remanded in custody by Bhaktapur District Court in connection with the embezzlement case involving the cooperative’s savings. He was serving his jail term at Nakkhu when he escaped.
