KATHMANDU, April 8: World Bank Country Director, David Sislen, paid a courtesy call on Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Gita Chaudhary today at the latter's office today.
During the meeting, discussions were held with focus on enhancing partnership between Nepal and the World Bank in the areas of agriculture and livestock development.

Furthermore, they also deliberated on promoting innovation, improving market management systems, mitigating the impacts of climate change and policy reforms aimed at advancing the agriculture sector, according to Minister Chaudhary's Private Secretariat.
The two sides exchanged views on strengthening nutrition networks and promoting inclusive agriculture development in Nepal, added the Secretariat.
