KATHMANDU, Dec 3: As many as 1,343 new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were registered on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).

With this, the total number of confirmed cases across the country has advanced to 237,589. The number also includes 220,272 recoveries and 1,551 deaths. Health Ministry officials on Thursday confirmed 2,111 recoveries and 15 fatalities linked with COVID-19 infection in the past 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley witnessed 561 new cases of the disease taking the total number in Nepal's federal capital to 109,547.
