2,905 new cases of COVID-19 recorded on Wednesday in Nepal

KATHMANDU, July 14: Nepal recorded 2,905 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.



According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 8,108 PCR tests and 4,916 antigen tests were conducted today. Of them, 2,010 PCR tests and 895 antigen tests turned out to be positive for COVID-19.

Likewise, 18 individuals succumbed to COVID-19 and 1,606 recovered from the disease on the same day.


There are currently 26,647 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them 24,099 are in home isolation and 2,548 in institutional isolations


Similarly, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 425 new cases on Wednesday. Of them, 294 were detected in Kathmandu, 67 in Bhaktapur and 62 in Lalitpur districts.
