Additional Rs 3.84 billion for health programs

KATHMANDU, March 4: The Ministry of Finance has allocated an additional Rs 3.84 billion for health-related programs, including health insurance payments. 



Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel approved the funds at the request of the Ministry of Health and Population.

The government has provided Rs 3 billion to the Health Insurance Board, Rs 600 million for the treatment of senior citizens and other health services, and Rs 240 million to the Shahid Gangalal National Heart Center for free treatment of heart disease patients.
