The ANFA has already decided to conduct district league in 40 districts affiliated to them after classifying them into A, B and C divisions.
The general assembly also endorsed the income and expenditure statement of about Rs 68.7 million for the fiscal year 066/67 presented by treasurer Birat Jung Shahi.
President Thapa presented the annual progress report in the assembly which also endorsed the proposal to felicitate him for being elected vice president of the Asian Football Confederation.
Earlier, the day-long general assembly was jointly inaugurated by 10-living members of Nepal´s first international football squad that participated in the Aga Khan Gold Cup Football Tournament in 1963 in East Pakistan (currently Bangladesh).
They were also awarded a purse of Rs 25,000 each and letters of appreciation.
Altogether 10 among 11 living members of the squad--Raj Bahadur Singh (RB Raja, captain), IS Subba, Amar Thapa, Baba Gurung, Komal Pandey, Gajendra Basnet, Salikram Adhikari, Bishnu Baral, Aftab Udin, KB Basnet were present during the function. Bhim Thapa was the only absentee.
Altogether 250 representatives and observers from 40 district football associations, A, B, and C division clubs; footballers, referees and coaches were present at the general assembly.
