In the matches played at the Pulchowk grounds, Arihant Holidays crushed Dhulabari Warriors by 77 runs while Siddhartha edged past Shalimar RMC-XI by 19 runs.[break]
Put into bat first, Arihant posted a total of 206 runs for the loss of five wickets as man-of-the-match Shailesh Sethia struck 61 runs. Ajay Rajbanshi (45), Paras Luniya (35) and Abhishek Agrawal (19) also contributed for Arihant. Kunal Malik of Dhulabari claimed two wickets.
Chasing the target, Dhulabari could make only 129/6. Ankush Bindal was the highest scorer for Dhulabari with 21 runs as the other batsmen were dismissed cheaply. Paras Luniya claimed two wickets for Arihant.
In another match, electing to bat Siddhartha scored 159/9 and then bundled out Shalimar for 140 runs with one ball to spare. Damodar Sharma scored the highest 28 runs while Ikhlaq Ahmad (27) and Manish Garg (20) were the other major contributors for Siddhartha. Abhishek Sharma claimed three wickets.
Rajiv Shrestha was the highest scorer for Shalimar with 56 runs, while Sumit Kadmiya contributed 16 runs. Man-of-the match Manish Agrawal claimed four wickets in his four-over spell.
