Though the office issued a circular, urging not to survey forest lands, representatives of different parties flouted its direction.
As a result, the office directed ranger posts, forest offices and guards to arrest all those involved in it.
According to district forest officer Shoharat Prasad Thakur, forest security guards have been mobilized to arrest them after information came to light that representatives of different parties surveyed the land in nighttime encroaching different forest areas, including Jyamire, Gaindakhal and Charpal.
Thakur added that action will be taken against those people according to the Forest Act. It is said that parties have help in encroaching forests.
