NeBA President Lama Tendi Sherpa and Narendra Kandel, the director of the college, signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) amidst a function at the college on Friday.[break]
As per the deals, the college will provide Rs 500,000 to NeBA for the next three years to conduct the U-18 National Basketball Tournament. Likewise, the college will bear all the management expenses of the talent hunt program for SLC graduates that will kick off from April 15 at the National Sports Council covered hall.
According to NeBA, the management expenses of the talent hunt would be around Rs 150,000. "The talent hunt is being conducted to find new talents in basketball and to help them in their playing career as well as their education," said NeBA President Sherpa.
The college also announced a 50 percent discount on college fee for the best player of the talent hunt program.
