Cases filed against five 'dons' at Special Court

KATHMANDU, May 19: The anti-money laundering department filed cases against five notorious ‘dons’ Abhishek Giri, Chakre Milan, Parshuram Basnet , Dipak Manange , and Ganesh Lama at the Special Court, on Sunday.



In the chargesheet, Giri is claimed to have amassed Rs 29.4 million; Chakre, Rs 70.8 million; Basnet, Rs 116.1million; Manage, Rs 147.3 million; and Lama, Rs 270.1 million through unknown sources. The department has sought as much amounts in fine and additional equal amounts in compensation from them.
