KATHMANDU, April 25: The temperature in the Kathmandu Valley has continued to rise in recent days, and it will remain between 31 and 34 degrees Celsius today.
The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) has stated that the rise in temperature is expected to continue until Saturday, with temperatures dropping and cloudy weather starting on Sunday.
Today, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the region will experience clear skies.
Partly cloudy conditions in Koshi, Gandaki
Light rain with thunder and lightning may occur in a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. There is also a chance of light rain and snowfall in a few places in the mountainous regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
Tonight, the DHM forecasts partly to generally cloudy weather in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the region will remain clear.
Light rain with thunder and lightning is possible in a few places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
Light rain and snowfall may also occur in a few places in the mountainous regions of Gandaki and Karnali provinces and a couple of places in the mountainous region of Koshi province.
