A gang comprising some six persons raped the woman taking her some one kilometer away from home after tying up her husband at the house.
The gang had entered the victim's house at 1:00 am.
The woman was rescued and has now been kept at Garuda-based women cell, according to the Area Police office, Garuda.
The condition of the woman was normal, said police. Investigation into the case was underway and police have not so far been able to arrest anybody in this connection. RSS
